EZscan IV connects with a high-speed USB 2.0 port and can scan both sides of a form simultaneously. The scanner’s hardware and software automate form design, expedites form handling and simplifies data decoding.
The scanner captures document images with command selectable at 100, 200 or 400 dpi and scans forms on a line-by-line basis up to 22 ips. Image data is available in 8-bit grayscale or bitonal (b/w) formats. Proprietary PC software decodes mark-sense data (OMR), OCR, bar code and MICR data. The mechanism is modular and is designed for an easy fit as an OEM subassembly into most terminal enclosures.
